and you will call it fate"

About Me

I am a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked in the helping world since 2009 in various roles: as an Advocate, Samaritan, Mentor and Counsellor. I have worked in Schools and Colleges before working as a contracted therapist for the NHS through IAPT (Increased Access to Psychological Therapies).

My practice is based on a relational-pluralistic model of Counselling & Psychotherapy, this incorporates a range of theoretical bases which allows me to collaborate with clients to tailor therapy to their individual needs but the core of the work will form around the relationship we create together. I believe we all have the potential to live fulfilling lives and each one of us has the key to unlock our potential and find our own direction. My work will include getting to know your unique world and gain understanding of you as a person within that world.

I know that life can throw immense difficulties and challenges at us and these can be very distressing and this can be accompanied by painful feelings and emotions; by being alongside you and using my skills I am hopeful that we can explore your existence at deeper levels to gain understanding and meaning. By gaining insight we are crafting an authentic response to our world which gives us the potential to move in a direction in life that is uniquely ours.

I can help with a range of issues including:

Anxiety & Depression

PTSD & Trauma

General Psychological Distress

Abuse

Child & Adolescent Problems

Self Harm

Loss

Grief & Bereavement
